Choice Africa Safaris is a family-owned and family operated Safari company managed by Randy and Adel Westraadt.
Randy was a career soldier, completing 12 years of military duty in the elite unit, 1 Special Services Battalion. He was a Senior Officer and squadron commander. Alas, he decided to heed the call of the bush, and so Randy started his first Safari Company in 1992. Since then, Choice Africa Safaris has grown into a leader in the South African Big Game Industry.
Over the last 30 years, Choice Africa Safaris has developed a legendary reputation amongst international hunters and outfitters alike. Choice Africa’s exclusive concessions and hunting areas became the preferred venue for both clients and outfitters wishing to experience the best quality hunts in South Africa.
With exclusive and solid cooperation agreements, Choice Africa Safaris can conduct hunts in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Botswana and Mozambique.
Choice Africa Safaris has invested in the Wildlife Industry and is focused on Sustainable Utilization through selective hunting. Over the years, Choice Africa Safaris has acquired expansive wildlife-areas totalling more than 2 000 000 acres of prime game land.
Randy is an avid trophy hunter and has hunted on five continents of the world, personally taking premier game species, including the Big 5, Marco Polo, Lion, Elephant, Ibex, Lesser Kudu and many more. He knows what discerning hunters require to enjoy peace of mind during the perfect African Safari.
Randy leads his team of hunting experts with an eye for detail and with the knowledge gained from experience and hard work!
